Our hotel is located in the village of Voukolies, in the centre of the regional unit of Chania and, simultaneously, right in the heart of nature. A village filled with lush greenery, in close proximity with paths of unparalleled beauty, groves that make fantastic day trips and awarded beaches with magnificent azure water. Fields of numerous orange and lemon trees, as much as an abundance of olive trees and the deep blue sky are also parts of a landscape that changes colours along with the seasons. Evge’s location makes it an ideal destination for the ultimate relaxation experience, during any season of the year.

Showing our utmost respect towards Mother Nature’s countless offerings, Evge’s facilities offer obtainable luxury to each guest, without compromising the crude charm of the natural environment. We have thus ensured not only to make our guests feel completely at home through amenities such as our pool, hot tub, and outdoor fireplace, but to also to reestablish their inner peace while gazing at the elusive beauty of Chania’s flora with the countless endemic species, the infinite horizon, and the deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea.
The preservation of the warmth and comfort that Cretan architecture is known for, together with modern additions and amenities, have been greatly important to our hotel. The redesigning of its common spaces notably evolves the concept of a traditional Cretan courtyard, into a modern resort of relaxation and rejuvenation which is largely resemblant of a commune.
– Dining hall
Our dining hall’s comfortable indoor space has been created in order to give all guests the opportunity to interact with one another, and to share moments, experiences, and locally-sourced flavours.
– Hub
Between hotel rooms and indoor common areas, we have created an outdoor living room that is ideal for gatherings, especially during the summer season. Apart from local delicacies and traditional Cretan raki, breakfast, lunch, and dinner could be served there upon request.
– Pool
A commonly-used wedge-shaped pool is located right in front of the central building, paying homage to the traditional water ditches used in the rural part of Crete up until a few decades ago.
– Outside space – Flora
Evge’s gardens entirely include endemic species. Both our ground plants and green roofs are filled with low shrubs such as thyme, savoury, lavender, and cat thyme, as much as flowers like areca palms, hortensias, and daisies. The surrounding areas are flush with fruit trees of the likes of lemon, orange, and pomegranate trees, while our pergolas are decorated with jasmine climbers.
